Love thy Bear loves to love. Teddies are a great gift for all ages.
Materials: ch = chain
MR = magic ring
2.75mm hook/C-2 (US) sc = single crochet
8ply yarns/DK or Light Worsted > 50g inc = single crochet increase (2 sc in
yarn in MAIN COLOUR, less than 50g one stitch)
in LIGHT COLOUR dec = decrease (sc 2 together)
Scissors sl st = slip stitch
Tapestry needle blo = working in back loops only
Polyester toy stuffing (..) = repeat the space in brackets the
Stitch marker given number of times
12mm plastic safety eyes (optional) [..] = total number of stitches
BLACK 4ply yarn or embroidery thread

Notes:
Amigurumi is usually stitched in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best, I prefer cotton.
When changing colour, yarn over the new colour and pull through on the stitch prior.
For this pattern, the following yarns were used:

Ears (MAIN COLOUR, make 2):
1) 6 sc in MR [6]
2) inc x 6 [12]
3) (sc, inc) x 6 [18]
4) (sc x 2, inc) x 6 [24]
5-8) sc x 24 [24]
Fold in half and sc across final round. Fasten off and leave
a tail for sewing.

Assembly:
1) Muzzle – sew between rounds 15-22 of the head.
2) Nose – embroider using MAIN COLOUR on muzzle between rounds 2-5.
3) Ears – sew to sides of head between rounds 4-14.
4) Eyes (optional) – embroider over rounds 14-17 using BLACK.
5) Head – sew to the body, go around twice to secure.
6) Arms – sew to the sides of the body between rounds 29-31.
7) Tail – sew to back of torso between rounds 19-24.
