SUCCESS CRITERIA 1. Pupils can choose 5 from the list A-H to describe the speaker’s attitude to photography.

ACTIVITIES
1. Pupils discuss as a class whether they take a lot of photos on their phones. What do they do with the
PRE-LESSON pictures afterwards? Do they save them or upload them somewhere? What happens if they lose their
phones?
2. Pupils turn to page 142 English Download and study the 2 tables in Activity 1.
3. Pupils need to complete 12 gaps in the table by writing 6 nouns abd 6 adverbs derived from the
adjectives given.
4. Pupils check their answers in pairs before discussing as a class.
5. Pupils read the list A-H in Activity 3 and underline the most important words in each sentence.
6. Pupils check their answers in pairs before discussing as a class.
LESSON DEVELOPMENT
7. Pupils listen to 5 short extracts in which people are talking about photography and choose 5 from the
list A-H to describe the speaker’s attitude to photography. (Main and Complementary Skill)
8. Pupils check their answers in pairs before discussing as a class.
Differentiated Activities:
Less proficient pupils: Read the audio text to them at a slightly slower speed

9. Pupils review their learning in this lesson by completing an exit card: ‘what they were able to do well
