Global environmental issues are the responsibility

of richer nations, not poorer ones. To what extent

do you agree or disagree?

It is no doubt that the humans is the primary cause of the brisk environment
destruction. And the controversial question is about who is responsible for
tackling this high-priority problem. It is suggested that the responsibility
belongs to the wealthier nations, not the developing or poverty-stricken ones.
However, from my view I believe that the environmental issues must be
addressed by all countries.

The richer nations should be the pioneers in protecting environment because

the more they exploit, the more profit they gain. The wealthy countries not only
take advantage from the ecosystem by exploiting fuel, coal and gas but also
cause the deforestation or the extinction of countless species and plants, as well
as the fauna and flora which compromise biological diversity. At the same
time, it enables these countries become extremely rich,well-being and the
people have higher quality of life than the ones in poor countries.
Consequently, the richer nations should be the first who provide funding for the
environmental security.

But that does not mean the poor and the developing countries do not need to
concern about the environment due to the environmental protection is the
urgent worldwide issue. Therefore, that is the responsibility of all nations, not
only the developed countries but also the poor ones must join hand to deal with
it. If we lose the environment, it comes at the cost of everything. It is definitely
futile that developed countries solve the issue while the other are still
destroying the habitats on the grounds (= because) of the fact that developing
countries make up the majority of the world's population such as China.

In conclusion, it is accurate to say that reduce damages to the habitat is the duty
=nghĩa vụ of most nations, we have to contribute to the environmental
protection, unity is the most powerful strength.
