In Chapter 9, Victor Frankenstein falls ill and is cared by his friend Henry Clerval.

While he was recovering, he received a letter from his father informing him that his
brother William had been murdered. Victor immediately returns home and discovers
that the suspect is Justin, whom he believes to be an innocent domestic employee.
However, Justin was found guilty and executed.
In Chapter 10, Victor ask himself for William's murder and Justin's unjust death. He
also begins to suspect that his monster might be the real killer. Victor decided to
embark on a journey to get rid of his guilt and find the monster. He travels to the
Swiss mountains where he encounters monsters. The monster recounts his
experiences of loneliness and asks Victor to create him a partner. Victor hesitated,
