ABSTRACT
Plasmolysis is a case where the cell transport occurs by osmosis migration solution from a
low density to a concentrated solution through a semi-permeable membrane is the event of
the loss of plasmolysis plasma membrane of the cell wall because of events osmosis. As for
the observation of plasmolysis we use material Rhoe discolor leaves, salt solution (20%, 30%
and 40%), and the sugar solution (20%, 30% and 40%). We observed in leaf epidermal cells
for experiments plasmolysis Rhoe discolor. While on trial plasmolysis, epidermal cells of
leaves Rhoe discolor before drops of sugar solution or a salt solution seemed pigment in each
cell fills the entire cell, whereas after drops of sugar solution or a salt solution seemed
pigment leaves Rhoe discolor accumulate on the bottom or the top of a part of cells and
pigment seemed more concentrated.
