ULTIMATE 13.

9B FLEX GUIDE

META ANALYSIS:
1) Overview:
a) Notable changes in 13.9/B
i) Kaisa / garen / miss fortune nerf
ii) Gadgeteen and lasercorp +1 augments can only be obtained 4-2
iii) Buffs to jhin/viego, strengthens the renegade tree a lot
iv) Pretty balanced patch, just diff comps are strong

2) SPOT INDICATOR COMP


RENEGADE
1) Really strong level 8 comp this patch with high
cap
2) A bit tricky to transition into, usually you should
think about playing into this if you have a 2/4
duelist opener and playing around fiora/alistar

REROLL LULU
1. Growth spurt / guardian spirit / Chronic
hallucinations / the best offense -> can play
towards reroll lulu
2. Other strong indicators are…
a. Lots of tears/belts early
b. 1 cost reroll lobby and uncontested
3. Sac 5 into neutrals -> slowroll above 50 at lv 5,
all in right before stage 4-1 for
panth3/lulu3/gp3/malph3 and push levels

REROLL VEX/6 MASCOTS


1. Would only play with mascot + 1
2. Sac 5 into 3-2 , slight roll for stable board and
then roll down again at 4-1 lv 7 for a 2 star
board
3. Econ back up and then roll down for vex3
malph 3
4. You can also just play vertical mascots w/o vex
3 and primary carry asol for top 4

BRAWLER JAX

1) Strong indicators are teamwide hp scaling


admin, scoped weapons, brawler + 1,
brawler opener with jax, 3 cost reroll lobby
2) Tempo comp, need to win all fights between
3-2 and 4-1, slight roll at 3-2, 4-1 econ back up
for jax 3

OX FORCE SPELLSLINGERS
1) Probably the most consistent AP comp to
default to
2) Strong indicators are shiv opener,
ox/spellslinger + 1, playing around kaisa/ox
force early
3) Roll for frontline and 1 TF to stabilize at 4-1,
then can push 8

INFINITEAM
1) Can hardforce if infiniteam + 1
2) Otherwise can play normally if infiniteam
opener (2star lucian/panth + sivir + LW)

MECH THREATS
1) Amazing comp to default to if 0 direction
2) Play around mech + threats, itemize
asol/morgana/bel’veth
3) If playing for top 4 can roll to 0 at lv 7 to not
bleed out
4) Impact velocity is insane for this comp

ANIMA SQUAD
1) Anima + 1 -> Can hardforce
2) No anima + 1 but have 2 star nasus/sylas and
jinx early, strong indicator still for anima
3) Can snowball early fame into a top 4
4) Don’t touch this comp otherwise

VERTICAL DUELISTS
1. Hardforce if duelist + 1 (non-emblem version
is WAY better because you can play 8 duelists
at lv 7!)
2. Other strong indicators are..
a. Hitting 4 duelists early.. Or kayle2 GP2
b. Locket opener
c. Spreadshot vayne(3 star for win-con)
3. Also can play into this if lowroll early game and
trying to salvage LP, can roll to 10g at 3-2 and
spike with 6 duelists to win all of stage 3 / 4
and bleed out to a 5th
REROLL ASHE
1) Only playable with laser focus, doesn’t
support more than 1 player so scout
2) 5 lose into krugs, roll to 33g at lv 4
(mathematically correct bc u can make 40g
next turn), go lv 5 and slowroll above 50.
3) Free top 3

STAR GUARDIANS
1) Star guardian + 1 -> hardforce
2) Star guardian spat on MF, 8 star guardians
wipes their team instantly

LASERCORPS
1) Way less consistent since you can’t get offered
laser + 1 before stage 4-2 anymore
2) Still strong if get laser opener, mostly a tempo
comp now
3) Mainly a top 4 comp if you get a great laser
opener early (renek 2/ashe2 + yasuo)

REROLL YASUO
1) WINDS OF THE WANDERER
2) Slowroll at 6 for yasuo 3

REROLL GNAR
1) Way less consistent since you can’t get offered
gadget + 1 before stage 4-2 anymore
2) Would not play unless you get gadget+1 early
from a tome

REROLL SIVIR
1) TIME AND A HALF can consider rerolling
2) If uncontested, reroll sivir and fast 9
3) Else just go 8 and play standard infiniteam

REROLL JINX
1) GET EXCITED -> hardforce
2) Slowroll at lv 6 for jinx 3, farm infinite fame into
a top 3

a) Slowroll at 6 for yasuo 3, can play vertical duelists or supers variant
2) BRAWLER JAX (LV 6 / 7)
a) Needs many conditions to be played, but if in the right spot it’s usually a free top

b) TEMPO comp, lose stages 2-1 to 3-1, win 3-2 to 4-1, lose 4-2 to 5-1, win all
stages after (jax 3)
3) MECH THREATS (LV 7 / 8)
a) If no direction or need to roll to 0 at lv 7, playing towards this comp is really good
b) Super underrated comp, can get you a top 4 from terrible spots
4) OX FORCE SPELLSLINGERS (LV 7)
a) Roll at 7 for 1 TF + frontline -> go 8
b) Play 4 ox and duo carry TF/Neeko
5) VERTICAL STAR GUARDIANS (LV 8)
a) Play only with SG + 1
b) Duo carry neeko/MF
6) ANIMA SQUAD (LV 7/8)
a) Broken with anima + 1
b) Really important to win early/mid fights to farm fame
c) Slam items that make sense on jinx/vayne for tempo, worry about MF later

b) Plays into infiniteam ezreal after you hit 3* sivir
3) INFINITEAM EZREAL (LV 8)
a) Any infiniteam augment or econ opener
b) Broken with infiniteam + 1
c) 7 infiniteam 2* ezreal highest cap board in the game
4) LASERCORPS (LV 8):
a) Very strong with lasercorps + 1
b) Need to roll at 8 to hit 2* ww and mordekaiser
5) RENEGADE JHIN (LV 8):
a) Lot stronger with renegade + 1
b) Need to roll at 8, need to roll at 8 for 2* jhin and viego and leona
