    Research Task: The Power of the Spectrum

    Your task is to create a 3–5-minute presentation that you can share with our class. Please prepare a powerpoint or
    visual to assist with your presentation.

    Read the articles provided regarding the Autism Spectrum and research someone is on the spectrum

    1. Who are they? - age, gender (if identified), where they live.
    2. Include a picture if possible.
    3. What are they diagnosed with? What are the symptoms? How many people are diagnosed with this? Are there
    factors that contribute to someone’s odds of being diagnosed with this? What are they?
    4. What have they accomplished? Do they have characteristics or skills that contribute to what they have
    accomplished? ex savant syndrome
    5. What are some obstacles they have overcome and how did they overcome them?
