I recently graduated from Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management
affiliated to Queens Margaret University Edinburgh. Growing up in a family business environment I always had interest in the business field. I had a dream to make my existing business more systematic thus expanding it. As being a student from hospitality background I have had lot of interest in hospitality sector. A country like Nepal where there is great possibility of tourism, I am hopeful that the MBA degree will allow me to fulfill my dream of owning and operating a hospitality related business in a better way. People nowadays are spending huge amount money in the business without having proper knowledge about it. There is always a risk while operating a business but there is also a strategy to minimize it. I hope that this MBA course will help me to understand the ways of managing business and teach me to recognize ventures that are worth spending. The IMBA course is crucial to my development as a person as well as a business leader, and I hope to be able to fully take advantage of this opportunity. So, I made up my mind to join MBA in Nepal and own a hospitality business rather than going abroad. In search many college with best and suitable IMBA course around Kathmandu valley, Herald College turned out to be the perfect fit for me. I also had heard about the organization from my friends which also motivated me in joining the organization. The fee structure and the location of the college is also ideal for me. As I completed my bachelor’s degree from UK based university it will be a familiar experience for me. However, the business world nowadays is more complex but with the guidance and knowledge gained by studying IMBA in Herald College will help me in achieving my future goals. In ten years I see myself as an entrepreneur taking care of my own family business and opening different ventures that will encourage the youths of our country to be engaged in similar business sector and contribute to local economy. As the business trend is increasing the opportunities comes in parallel way. So looking at the business trend I think that being in Nepal and owning a business either small or big is better than seeking jobs in abroad.
