Objective of Assignment:
The basic objective of the assignment is to make students familiar with the concept of various
Business Strategies.
Learning Outcomes:
After attempting the assignment students will be able to:
Understand and identify some of the business strategies
Scenario:
Suppose there are three business concerns “Company A”, “Company B” and “Company C”. The
market share of Company A is high and the market in which it is existing has a very high growth
rate as well. It offers a range of its existing products in the existing market place. On the contrary,
Company B is existing in a market place where the growth rate is very low, however, it is
enjoying a high market share. It focues on entering new markets with its new products. Whereas,
Company C has a low market share in a market where the growth rate is high. Company C offers
its existing products in the new markets.
