Are canvas
shoes better in
most aspects
than leather
shoes?
 Which one is better?

Every material has it pros and cons, but in my opinion

canvas shoes are better than leather shoes, First
reason why canvas shoes are more advantageous to me
because, canvas shoes are fun, casual, and versatile.
Second advantage is these are also not that pricey. You
can buy a decent pair of them from anywhere in
budget price.
What are canvas shoes made of ?
The canvas shoe is a very basic form of
casual shoe or sneaker. Canvas is a cloth
material made of hemp. Canvas shoes
are made from canvas, with a rubber, or
fiber sole. These multi-purpose shoes
come in a range of styles.
 Canvas shoes are versatile.
o Comfortable
o Lightweight
o Fashionable
o Tons of variety
“Canvas shoes have many advantages,
which make them a popular choice of
footwear for men and women. Canvas
shoes are comfortable, lightweight,
easy to clean and can be paired with a
wide range of outfits.”
Canvas shoes are cost-effective.
o Low maintenance
o Easy to get
o Easy to clean

“We can buy two pair of canvas shoes in the

price of one pair of leather shoe. It can be
washed with our regular laundry detergent. If
the shoes are white, chlorine bleach can be
added to brighten them up.”
 Some drawbacks of canvas shoes
o Not durable as leather shoes
o Not-waterproof
o Can loose its fit

“In general, it’s true that leather is more

durable than other materials. It will last
longer before breaking down and needing to
be replaced. Also in terms of formal looks,
leather shoes are always on top.
However, canvas today is far more durable
than it used to be.”
 To sum up

While leather shoes are preferred by many,

but canvas shoes have always been my
favorite. The feet feels very comfortable
when wearing canvas shoes because of its
breathable, soft and lightweight materials.
Also cleaning them and getting good quality
shoes is not that difficult but getting an
original leather shoes is a bit tough for me.
