Objective
This essay writing workshop is designed to enhance students’ generic academic writing
skills as well as subject-specific genres. Students will learn how to write the Group Project
Assignment for SEHH1007 Information Technology for Business. Feedback on draft
assignments will also be given to participants in the later part of the workshop.

Expected Learning Outcomes


On successfully completing this subject, students will be able to:
 Use effective strategies to analyse texts specific to their study discipline;
 Use appropriate lexical-grammatical resources to write academic text(s) specific to
their study discipline.
