employees know about the precautions and requirements during the handling, storage, transportation,
and use of hazardous chemicals, to provide reliable information about the operation of hazardous
chemicals, and to take effective control of hazards chemicals through the material safety data sheet
(MSDS), container labels, and training.

2 Scope
The Procedure is applicable to the Company and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, and the non-wholly
owned holding companies can use it as a reference. When working in the operating area of Party A, it is
necessary to consult Party A and implement the operation according to the highest standard.
Hazardous chemicals in this Procedure refer to substances listed in the national Catalog of Hazardous
Chemicals. When implementing this Procedure, relevant entities and personnel shall verify that the
items involved shall be indeed within the management scope of the above-mentioned standards and
this Procedure.

3 Terms and definitions

3.1 Hazardous chemicals
It refers to highly toxic chemicals and other chemicals that are toxic, corrosive, explosive, combustible,
and combustion-supporting, and are harmful to humans, facilities, and the environment.
3.2 Static electricity
Substances generate static electricity through physical contact and separation of electrical charges and
the different effects of positive and negative charge formation. When liquids are moved, such as
poured, mixed, pumped, filtered or mixed, static electricity will be generated as they come into contact
with other substances.
3.3 Equipotential bonding
It refers to the process of connecting two or more conductive objects using one conductor to reduce the
potential difference between two conductors. The connection equalizes the electrical potential between
objects.
3.4 Grounding
It refers to the process of connecting one or more conductors to the ground to reduce the potential
difference between an object and the ground. Grounding causes charge to flow into the ground.
3.5 Separated storage
It refers to that in the same room or the same area, different materials shall be separated from each
other by a certain distance, and non-taboo materials shall be stored by a passage to maintain a space.
3.6 Partitioned storage
It refers to the storage way of using partitions or walls to partition it from contraindicated materials in the
same building or in the same area.
3.7 Isolated storage
It refers to the way of storage in different buildings or in exterior zone away from all buildings.
3.8 Prohibited materials
