handled when the packaging is damaged, deteriorated, decomposed, reacted, or expired in
storage to prevent injury to personnel and pollution to the environment.
(e) Storage, handling, and use of hazardous chemicals shall meet the requirements of safety and
fire-fighting; passages, entrances, and exits shall be kept open; electricity consumption shall
be in line with the norms; fire-fighting equipment shall be fully equipped; and various warning
signs shall be visible. When necessary, facilities such as isolation, ventilation, temperature and

before loading and unloading operations) shall be equipped according to the characteristics
and storage requirements of hazardous chemicals, and regular inspection/testing/maintenance
shall be carried out as required.
f) Hazardous chemicals management entities shall establish an entry and exit ledger for
hazardous chemicals, establish and improve systems such as fire prevention, theft prevention,
and patrol duty, and regularly check to ensure that the accounts are consistent.
g) Personnel exposed to hazardous chemicals shall have received training and assessment of
relevant knowledge of hazardous chemicals and emergency response capabilities, and shall
be certified to work.
h) For containers of recycled hazardous chemicals:
Correctly refill the same hazardous chemicals;
Strictly clean and label before use for other substances;
If it is not recovered or disposed of in time, clean the container and label the container
"Empty", and properly dispose of the residual liquid and waste water.
i) For hazardous chemicals that are flammable or may cause pollution, leak prevention devices
must be provided during storage and handling.
j) Employees are prohibited from bringing any hazardous chemicals for production into the living
area without approval.
5.5.2 Hygiene
All employees (personnel who are exposed to hazardous chemicals) shall develop the habit of washing
their faces and hands frequently, especially before smoking and eating, to prevent ingestion, irritation of
the skin or inhalation of toxic and harmful substances. Do not use organic solvents to wash the skin, to
avoid irritating the skin, or degreasing the skin.
5.5.3 Personal protective equipment
In order to protect the eyes, face and skin etc. from injury, the following measures can be taken:
ventilate to remove toxic or allergic vapors, avoid being injured by splashes and flying objects while
handling hazardous chemicals, follow the DSDS required to wear protective equipment such as
protective clothing, goggles and face shield.
5.5.4 Flammability and flammable liquid storage requirements
Flammable or combustible liquid must be stored in tanks, barrels or movable tanks.
Bottles or tanks containing flammable or combustible liquid must be marked with the chemical

operating area, and soda water and acid-proof labor insurance shall be provided for acid-
related operations.
b) If liquid or vapor enters the eyes, immediately rinse with water for at least 15 minutes; If acid
gets into eyes, rinse with soda water for at least 15 minutes.
c) If skin is burned by contaminants, rinse immediately with water and remove clothing to rinse
affected area.
d) Any skin erythema or irritation caused by exposure to hazardous chemicals shall seek
immediate medical attention.
e) Skin irritation may be due to exposure to chemicals or vapor, if this occurs, area managers
and safety personnel must be notified as soon as possible.
f) Area managers and safety personnel must be notified as soon as possible of any chemical
exposure.
g) In the event of leakage of hazardous chemicals, emergency personnel on site shall
immediately wear protective clothing and necessary monitoring and measuring instruments to
cut off the source of leakage; If unsuccessful, emergency personnel shall be organized to
repair the cofferdam and other measures shall be taken; If the cofferdam cannot be repaired
urgently, all personnel shall be evacuated immediately, relevant monitoring work shall be done
well, and reports shall be made to relevant departments or entities according to the accident
reporting procedure.
h) Any spilled chemicals must be cleaned up as soon as possible. If possible, immediately scrub
the spill area with water and a rag (do not flush liquids that do not mix well with water or
chemicals that may react with water to produce toxic gases), or use an appropriate neutralizer.
i) Do not scrub the leaked chemicals with hands and clothes, and do not do cleaning without
wearing protective equipment. Some chemicals may be highly corrosive, or cause severe
burns due to spontaneous combustion. In this case, only corresponding absorbing materials
shall be used.
j) Avoid inhalation of toxic gases from leaked chemicals. Respirators must be worn in the event
of a large-scale spill, and it shall be handled by professionals as much as possible.
k) Personnel training. Staff shall be trained and regularly drilled on emergency plans, personal
protective equipment, and emergency disposal methods, and records of training and drills
shall be made.
5.5.12 The person in charge of the area and the employees involved in the operation of hazardous
chemicals shall regularly read the regulations.
a) Before using new chemicals, read the safety technical specifications of hazardous chemicals
and relevant management and operation procedure.
b) The members designated as hazardous chemicals emergency response team shall receive
relevant training on a regular basis according to the requirements of on-site emergency
response procedures.
5.6 Transport and handling of hazardous chemicals
5.6.1 Only qualified and approved contractors can transport hazardous chemicals. During the
transportation of hazardous chemicals, the contractor must provide:
The "Dangerous Goods Transport Permit" issued and valid by the competent government
department, and the person in charge of escorting shall have the "Transportation Permit";
Qualified drivers, with extensive knowledge of handling hazardous chemicals;
Motor vehicles in good safety condition must be equipped with fire extinguishing equipment
and anti-spill facilities.
5.6.2 Personnel engaged in the transportation and handling of hazardous chemicals must receive
training to understand the physical and chemical properties of hazardous chemicals and the emergency
