Dear Parents,

In order to make sure that our students are prepared to cope with the expectations of the next grade level, it is imperative that we
strengthen the concepts taught this year and assess their understanding. Therefore, we will be taking End of Term Assessments
in May 2023. The final schedule for these assessments will be shared with you later.

There will be thorough revision and reinforcement of these topics before the assessments. Please make sure that your daughter
attends her classes regularly in order to benefit from the revision lessons.

Each End of Term Assessment will be marked out of 30 marks. The Grading Policy was shared with parents at the beginning of
this term, but we are sharing it again for your convenience:

Assessment Marks: 70% (55%  will include formal in-school assessments as well as informal assessments taken any time during
the class to check students’ understanding like quizzes or short tasks and 30% will consist of marks for the End of the Term
Assessment)

Class performance: 30% (10% attendance and punctuality, 10% timely work submission, 10% contributing relevantly to class
discussions)
