Wedding Mass - Babakan
Wedding Mass - Babakan
COMMENTATOR
A Marriage is established by the conjugal covenant, that is,
the irrevocable consentof both spouses, by which they freely give
themselves to each other and accept each other. Moreover, this
singular union of a man and a woman requires, and the good of the
children demand, the complete fidelity of the spouses and the
indissoluble unity of the bond. The intimate community of life and
love, by which spouses “are no longer two, but one flesh,” has been
established by God the Creator.
We are here today in joyful celebration come to witness the
Holy Matrimony of DAWID KOLODZIEJEK & KAROLINA
RUDNICKA; with one heart love and courage the come to give
themselves and their love to be united by God in the Holy
Matrimony. Come and please rise as we join the choir to welcome
them in this Gods’ house with singing of entrance Hymn.

Second Reading
A reading from the first Letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians
Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud;
love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep
a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with
the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope and patience
never fail. Love is eternal. There are inspiredmmessages, but they
are temporary; there are gifts of speaking in strange tongues, but
they will cease; there is knowledge, but it will pass. For our gifts
of knowledge and of inspired messages are only partial; but when
what is perfect comes, then what is partial will disappear. When I
was a child, my speech, feelings and thinking were all those of a

child; now that I am an adult, I have no more use for childish
ways. What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we
shall see face to face. What I know now is only partial; then it
will be complete as God's knowledge of me. Meanwhile these
three remain: faith, hope and love; and the greatest of these is
love.
R : The word of the Lord.
All: Thanks be to God.
Gospel Acclamation
All stand as the Gospel Acclamation is sung
Alleluia, alleluia!
“God is love; let us love one another as God has loved us.”
Alleluia, Alleluia!

All : And with your spirit.
Priest: A reading from the holy Gospel according to John
All: Glory to you, O Lord.
Jesus said to his disciples: ‘As the Father has loved me, so I have
loved you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments,
you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s
commandments and remain in his love. I have told you this so
that my own joy may be in you and your joy be complete. This is
my commandment: love one another, as I have loved you.’
Priest : The Gospel of the Lord.
All : Praise to You, Lord Jesus Christ.
DECLARATION OF CONSENT
Priest : I invite you to declare before God and his Church your

The Priest then asks the bridegroom:
When the bride and bridegroom have given their consent, the Priest
says:
The bridegroom says: I, (Dawid), take you, (Karolina), to be my
wife. I promise to betrue to you in good times and in bad, in
sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the
days of my life.
The bride says: I, (Karolina), take you, (Dawid), to be my husband.
I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in
sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the
days of my life.
Priest: Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for we have
received from your abundance the bread we offer you, fruit
of the earth and work of human hands: it will become for us
the bread of life.
All: Blessed be God forever.
Priest in quiet: By the mystery of this water and wine may we come
to share in the divinity of Christ, who humbled himself to share in
our humanity.
Priest: Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for we have
received from your abundance the wine we offer you, fruit
of the vine and work of human hands: it will become for us
the spiritual drink.
All: Blessed be God forever.
PREFACE
It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks,
Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God,
through Christ our Lord.
For in him you have made a new covenant with your people,
so that, as you have redeemed man and woman
by the mystery of Christ’s Death and Resurrection,
so in Christ you might make them partakers of divine nature
and joint heirs with him of heavenly glory.
In the union of husband and wife

you give a sign of Christ’s loving gift of grace,
so that the Sacrament we celebrate might draw us
back more deeply into the wondrous design of your love.
And so, with the Angels and all the Saints,
we praise you, and without end we acclaim:
He joins his hands and, holding them extended over the offerings, says:
Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
by sending down your
Spirit upon them like the dewfall,
He joins his handsand makes theSign of the Cross once over the bread
and the chalice together, saying:
He bows slightly.
Therefore, as we celebrate
the memorial of his Death and Resurrection,
we offer you, Lord,
the Bread of life and the Chalice of salvation,
giving thanks that you have held us worthy
to be in your presence and minister to you.
Humbly we pray
that, partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ,
we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
He takes the chalice and the paten with the host and, raising both, he
says:
Amen.
All – Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy
Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who treapass against us; and lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
P –Deliver us, Lord we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace
in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always
free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed
hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
All – For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and
for ever.
All – Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy
on us;
Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world. Have mercy
on us;
Lamb of God, You take away the sisn of the world, grant us
peace;
P –Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of
the world. Blessed are those called to the Supper of the Lamb.
All – Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but
only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
