PRONOUN
A pronoun is a word used in place of a noun to
avoid repeating the noun
Demonstrative

pronoun
Is used to replace a noun or a pronoun that has already been
mentioned in a sentence. This pronoun is used mainly to avoid
repetion that may lead to any kind of confusion.

This is my pen
That is your pen

These are your pets


Those are your dresses
Indefinite pronouns

We use indefinite pronouns when we want to refer


to people or things without saying exactly who or
what they are. It is used to mention unspecified
things or persons is called an ‘Indefinite Pronoun”.
Interrogative pronoun
Is a pronoun used to ask a question. An interrogative pronoun replaces a noun in a
sentence to ask a question

Personal pronoun

Personal pronouns are used in place of specific

people or things that we are talking about. We

use these Personal Pronouns keeping in view of

the Number, Person, Gender and Case


Possesive pronoun
Is a pronoun that is used to show possesion or ownership and a possesive
pronoun is used in place of the noun.

Reciprocal pronoun
Reciprocal pronouns are words that express a mutual
relationship or action between two people or things.
RELATIVE PRONOUN
A relative pronoun is a word that is used to connect an
independent clause to a dependent clause to make clear which
person or thing we are talking about.
REFLEXIVE PRONOUNS
Reflexive pronouns are used when the subject and object of a

sentence are the same

I made a coffe for myself

You should take care of yourself

Alex bought a pen for himself

She introduced herself to the manager

The cat injured itself while jumping

We built a house for ourself

Did you make these pizzas yourselves?

They are doing this for themselves
