In continuation of the previous notification dated.10-6-2009, RGUKT invites applications for
the post of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in various disciplines at its
three campuses viz. Basar, Nuzvid, R.K.Valley under group-I,II & III, in the prescribed form.
The Format of the application is available on www.rgukt.in. The application should be
submitted through online and a hard copy of it should be sent with a Demand Draft for Rs.500/- and
in case of SCs & STs Rs.300/- (drawn in favor of Registrar, RGUKT payable at Hyderabad) along with
relevant copies of certificates on the address of the Registrar, RGUKT, 3rd floor APSCHE building,
Masab tank, Hyderabad, 500028, by post or in person on or before 7-7-2010 before 5.00 P.M.
The details of the Pay scales, prescribed qualifications and other eligibility conditions are available
on the website of RGUKT.
Those who had applied already in response to our previous notification need not apply again
but they have to update their biodata.

Assistant Ph.D with a first class at the PG level in the relevant Rs:15,600- 39,000 With
Professor subject or equivalent in the appropriate branch and good AGP of Rs.8,000/- p.m
track academic record. A minimum of three years’ (PB-3). Minimum pay to
be fixed is at
industrial/research/teaching experience. (excluding
Rs.30,000/-
experience gained while pursuing Ph.D).
No age restriction.
Associate Ph.D with a first class at the PG level in the relevant Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 with
Professors subject or equivalent in the appropriate branch and good AGP of RS.9,500/- p.m
track academic record. A minimum of six years’ (PB-4). Minimum pay to
be fixed is at
industrial/research/teaching experience, of which at least
Rs. 42,800/-
three years’ should be at level of Associate Professor,
Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.
No age restriction.

Professor Ph.D with a first class at the PG level in the relevant Rs. 37,400-6,700 with
subject or equivalent in the appropriate branch and good AGP of Rs.10,500/- p.m.
track academic record. A minimum of ten years’ of which Minimum pay to be fixed
at least 4 years should be at the level of Professors in is at
reputed Institutions/Universities. Rs.48,000/-
No age restriction.
Categories of Appointment: Two categories of appointments may be there.

1. Contract appointments: These are open to all suitable candidates including motivated
retired faculty members of NIITs, IITs, IISc and other universities of repute from India and
abroad. The period of contract shall be three years and renewable after expiry.
2. On deputation: These are open to all suitable candidates including motivated retired faculty
members of NIITs, IITs, IISc and other universities of repute from India and abroad.
Note:
 The selection committee at its description may relax the minimum requirements in case
of the outstanding candidates for each of the above three faculty positions.
 Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview to be conducted by the committee
constituted for this purpose.
 Interested candidates may apply with their curriculum vitae, list of publications (with
reprints of important publications, proposed research plan, location at which the
candidate proposes to work, name and address with email addresses and fax numbers of
at least three references and any other details).
