Career Info that I have discovered… Personal fitness trainers usually have the flexibility to set their own schedules. I
can choose to work full time or part time, and I have the freedom to work in
different locations such as gyms, fitness centers, or depending on the needs of
Consider: my clients, I can decide where to take classes. Working closely with clients

❏ Upsides/downsides of job variety of backgrounds. I can support and motivate my clients throughout their
❏ Job duties/responsibilities fitness journey, and if there is a career change afterwards, I can broaden my
❏ Salary range network in this way. However, the disadvantage is that the salary is not stable.
❏ Future outlook I think the job of a fitness instructor is determined by your level and the time
❏ Lifestyle factors you spend leading classes, and being a fitness instructor requires physical
❏ Advancement opportunities exertion and endurance. You will be on your feet for long periods of time,
demonstrating exercises, monitoring clients and assisting with the use of
equipment.
Assess client's fitness level and goals. Develop individualized exercise programs
and nutrition plans. Provide guidance on lifestyle and behavior changes to
support overall health. Demonstrate and explain the use of fitness equipment
to ensure the safety of the client during the workout but I think the most
important point is to use my own personal experience to demonstrate to the
client and find the movements that are at the user's level as well as correcting
the client's mistakes in a timely manner.
Entry-level trainers can earn around $25,000 to $35,000 per year, while
experienced trainers with a strong client base or expertise can earn $50,000 or
more per year. Independent trainers may charge anywhere from $30 to $100
per hour. But this is not stable, and like I said before, it will be determined by
the number of clients they have and the number of classes they lead, and
possibly the level of the gym they work at. And this salary level is similar to my
current trainer, who gets a percentage of the total price of the class.
The increasing emphasis on preventive health care and the popularity of
fitness trends contribute to the positive job prospects of fitness instructors, but
it is also important to improve one's professional skills
Being a personal fitness trainer can provide a vibrant and active lifestyle. I may
have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, engage in physical
activity, and have the flexibility to manage my schedule. However, it is
important to note that my hours may include early mornings, late evenings and
weekends to accommodate clients' needs. So the hours are very flexible. But
as a fitness enthusiast and client, coaching long irregular sessions, and
frequent changes in session times can make me uncomfortable
Education needed to pursue my plan: First of all, because I have a coach, I know of BCRPA certified. BCRPA is a non-
profit organization in British Columbia, Canada, that provides certification and
training for fitness professionals.
