1: This amazing legend takes place in the old Mexico
2: Everyone who know this story, has another person who told them
3: It starts back on the days, when things were very different
4: And it seems like, even today, doesn’t end.
1: This legend originated by the habitants of a pre Hispanic place.
2: And that is how our legend begins

3: This shinning day was supposed to be one of the most beautiful of all
4: A delicious fruit cultivated by a woman was on the hands of the sisters
1: and suddenly, the younger sister came to them screaming and running

1: “Hey, girls!”
2: “Why are you gasping like that?
1: “Something marvelous was presented by my eyes”
3: “What are you talking about?”

4: A deep breathe was taken by the sister before she started to talk

1: “I saw a beautiful line of orange flowers in the walk coming here…”

2: “And that is important because…”
1: “Because it was something never seen before!”

3: The three women saw at each other.

4: “I think I know what kind of flower it is”

1: “Really?”

2: A smile suddenly was showed to them by the sister.

4: “Mom told me before”

1: “What?”
4: “It´s true. Some kids were on this place before, and they grow up as the best
friends in the world”
2: “I remember! This story is well known by the people around here. So sweat”
3: “I think is sad…”
1: “Why? Tell me!”
4: “Fine. Ages ago, these two kids became adults, and he had to go to war”
2: “She was so sad about it, but a promised was rising by them”
1: “What promise?”
3: “That they will always be together no matter what”
4: “But his life was taken by the war”
1: “He died…”
2: “Yes, but she still had the chance to reborn as a flower by the prayers to the
sun”
3: “Then the flower always is open by a bird every year”
4: “That´s why is showed in this season, to remind the people about the connection
we have to our love ones”
1: “Do you think that can exists communication between my mother and I by this
flower?”
2: “Call it Cempasuchil. And yes, it will be”
1: “Let´s go then! There are a lot of them waiting for me to be cut”
2: “Fine, let´s see”
