Heriot-Watt University, Dubai has operated in Dubai since 2005

and recently earned a prestigious five-star ranking from
Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

Building on its commitment to deliver high quality education and

research in Dubai, our brand-new campus in Dubai Knowledge Park
has been designed to enhance student experience and will provide a
digital learning environment supporting the overall delivery of
Heriot–Watt’s plethora of programmes in Data Science, Construction
and Engineering, Accounting and Finance, Psychology, Architecture
and Design, Computing and AI.

The campus will include a range of social learning spaces, a

dedicated Maths Gym for mathematics support, a student hub for
recreation, clubs and societies, and spaces to allow staff and
researchers to create and operate businesses as well as interact and
work with business leaders and entrepreneurs. The university’s library
will offer physical and digital resources. A high-tech facility for robotics
and artificial intelligence will allow students to develop, design and
interact with autonomous systems.

foundation programme which will help you bridge the gap between your school qualifications and the

Advanced Degree Entry

This programme is designed to provide students who have completed grade 11, IGCSE, or equivalent
with an accelerated pathway into the second year of undergraduate programmes offered within the
subject areas of Business, Management, Psychology and Engineering. Students take an advanced
pathway, completing the foundation and the first year of their degree over a twelve-month period from
September to August.
