I. Objectives:
1. We’ll know how many earthquakes has occurred for the past seven days.
2. We’ll know where in the world do most earthquake happen.
II. Materials:
 World Map
 Markers (orange and blue)
III. Procedure

IV. Questions:
1. How many earthquakes occurred for the past seven days?
-According to IRIS Worldwide Seismic Monitor system, 145 earthquakes are found in
the past seven days.

2. Where in the world do most earthquake happen?

- The World’s Most Earthquake-Prone Areas and Countries are: the circum-Pacific
seismic belt, the Alpide belt, the mid-Atlantic Ridge.

3. Does earthquake happen in all places in the world?

- Earthquakes are not placed randomly around the Earth, but rather in distinct zones
that can be tied to the margins of tectonic plates on the Earth's surface.
V. Generalization
We happened to know that earthquakes occur every day all over the world.
