THE STORY
Children are born curious, they are the youngest scientists out there.
They are literally experiencing everything for the first time.

Many children struggle in schools because the way they are being taught
is incompatible with the way they learn.

This four walled room is an industrial way of education. It confines chil-


dren in a space where they can’t discover or understand the freedom or
thrill of learning.
THE IDEA
Create a fun educational show for everyone to watch and for
children to also learn in an engaging way outside of the class-
room.

Objectives

Create a TV program that provides rigorous and amusing educational


and culturally appropriate Arabic content for MENA region Children.

Every episode is conceived with the audience’s interest at heart;


teaching them about the real world we live in today along with practical
knowledge that would make them independent critical thinkers.

This content is a beacon of light for all the struggling families that try to
find worthy Arabic/educational content for their children.
Format

Tiktok
TikTok was always perceived as an entertainment platform for
teenagers and young adults.

Changing Tiktok perception and introducing a different angel that


is educational yet still entertaining will be of great benefit for its
users.

Therefore tailoring 10 Tiktok hashtags for people to use and create


viral content will give it an edge.

1- Jobs
We often grow up with wrong misconceptions about different jobs.

In this segment we explain the essence of each job in a simple


informative way.

In every episode we will host an expert from the field we are


discussing; as well as a child from our viewers who would be asking
the expert question about their job.

By interviewing a big list of both usual and unusual jobs, children will
broaden their perspective and views about the world’s profession.

2- Hazardous Experiment

In this segment we will have fun, dangerous and crazy experiments.

The goal of this segment is to do what our viewers shouldn’t do at


home and explain why.

highlighting its importance and explain how dangerous it in not to
put the seat belt while the car is moving.

In this segment we will have dangerous and crazy experiments.

The goal of this segment is to do what our viewers shouldn’t do at


home and explain why.

We all as kids always used to listen to what our mom says without
understanding why because we grow understanding that “Mama is
always right” and that “Mothers always know best”

In this segment we will talk about the scientific reasons behind all the
advice we had to follow without understanding why.

Ex: Why we can never put foil in the microwave (then we do the
experiment in order to prove that Mothers really do know best).

At the end, we will highlight that sometimes Mama can be


wrong !!
Challenges

At the end of every episode we will have a


fun task for kids to take part at home relat-
ed to the upcoming episode.

Kids should answer by sending their video


response or photo on social media. A lucky
winner will be chosen to be our guest in the
next episode during the jobs segment.
Social Media Engagement

In order to create engagement and a hype on social


media, we will encourage the audience to send us what
they would like to experiment or see in the next episode.

The one with the most creative idea will make the
experiment with Khaled and Shady.

Flow of episodes
This show will be a fast paced show composed of 4 segments and 3 bumpers in
each episode (number of segments and bumpers may vary depends on the
duration of the episode). Each episode will start with a an introduction from our
two hosts followed by an outline of the episode. Afterwards, we go ahead with a
segment that tackles an important topic then we introduce a fast and short
bumper that is informative and light. The bumper can be in form of a VO with
graphics or it can be filmed live depends on the topic.

‫ﻣﺼﺮ‪ ،‬وﺗﻨﺤﺪر أﺻﻮﻟﻬﺎ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻤﻨﻴﺎ‪ .‬درس اﻟﻄﺐ ﻓﻲ ﺟﺎﻣﻌﺔ اﻟﻘﺎﻫﺮة‪ ،‬وﺗﻌﻠﻢ ﻓﻲ ﺷﻴﻜﺎﻏﻮ‪ ،‬ﺛﻢ اﻧﺘﻘﻞ إﻟﻰ ﺑﺮﻳﻄﺎﻧﻴﺎ ﻓﻲ ﻋﺎم ‪ 1962‬ﻟﻴﻌﻤﻞ ﻓﻲ‬
‫ﻣﺴﺘﺸﻔﻰ اﻟﺼﺪر ﺑﻠﻨﺪن‪ ،‬ﺛﻢ أﺻﺒﺢ أﺧﺼﺎﺋﻲ ﺟﺮاﺣﺎت اﻟﻘﻠﺐ واﻟﺮﺋﺘﻴﻦ ﻓﻲ ﻣﺴﺘﺸﻔﻰ ﻫﺎرﻓﻴﻠﺪ )ﻣﻦ ‪ 1969‬إﻟﻰ ‪ ،(2001‬وﻣﺪﻳﺮ ﻗﺴﻢ اﻷﺑﺤﺎث اﻟﻌﻠﻤﻴﺔ‬

‫واﻟﺘﻌﻠﻴﻢ )ﻣﻨﺬ ﻋﺎم ‪ .(1992‬ﻋﻴﻦ أﺳﺘﺎذا ﻓﻲ اﻟﻤﻌﻬﺪ اﻟﻘﻮﻣﻲ ﻟﻠﻘﻠﺐ واﻟﺮﺋﺔ ﻓﻲ ﻋﺎم ‪ ،1986‬واﻫﺘﻢ ﺑﺘﻄﻮﻳﺮ ﺗﻘﻨﻴﺎت ﺟﺮاﺣﺎت ﻧﻘﻞ اﻟﻘﻠﺐ ﻣﻨﺬ ﻋﺎم‬
‫‪ .1967‬ﻓﻲ ﻋﺎم ‪ 1980‬ﻗﺎم ﺑﻌﻤﻠﻴﺔ ﻧﻘﻞ ﻗﻠﺐ ﻟﻠﻤﺮﻳﺾ درﻳﻚ ﻣﻮرﻳﺲ‪ ،‬واﻟﺬي أﺻﺒﺢ أﻃﻮل ﻣﺮﻳﺾ ﻧﻘﻞ ﻗﻠﺐ أوروﺑﻲ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻗﻴﺪ اﻟﺤﻴﺎة ﺣﺘﻰ ﻣﻮﺗﻪ ﻓﻲ‬
‫ﻳﻮﻟﻴﻮ ‪ .2005‬ﻣﻦ ﺑﻴﻦ اﻟﻤﺸﺎﻫﻴﺮ اﻟﺬﻳﻦ أﺟﺮى ﻟﻬﻢ ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺎت ﻛﺎن اﻟﻜﻮﻣﻴﺪي اﻟﺒﺮﻳﻄﺎﻧﻲ إرﻳﻚ ﻣﻮرﻛﺎﻣﺐ‪ ،‬وﻣﻨﺤﺘﻪ اﻟﻤﻠﻜﺔ إﻟﻴﺰاﺑﻴﺚ اﻟﺜﺎﻧﻴﺔ ﻟﻘﺐ ﻓﺎرس‬

‫ﻓﻲ ﻋﺎم ‪ 2001‬ﺣﻴﻦ أﺻﺒﺢ ﻋﻤﺮه ‪ 65‬ﺳﻨﺔ اﻋﺘﺰل إﺟﺮاء اﻟﻌﻤﻠﻴﺎت اﻟﺠﺮاﺣﻴﺔ واﺳﺘﻤﺮ ﻛﺎﺳﺘﺸﺎري وﻣﻨﻈﺮ ﻟﻌﻤﻠﻴﺎت ﻧﻘﻞ اﻷﻋﻀﺎء‪ .‬ﻓﻲ ﻋﺎم ‪2006‬‬
‫ﻗﻄﻊ اﻟﺪﻛﺘﻮر ﻣﺠﺪي ﻳﻌﻘﻮب اﻋﺘﺰاﻟﻪ اﻟﻌﻤﻠﻴﺎت ﻟﻴﻘﻮد ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺔ ﻣﻌﻘﺪة ﺗﺘﻄﻠﺐ إزاﻟﺔ ﻗﻠﺐ ﻣﺰروع ﻓﻲ ﻣﺮﻳﻀﺔ ﺑﻌﺪ ﺷﻔﺎء ﻗﻠﺒﻬﺎ اﻟﻄﺒﻴﻌﻲ‪ ،‬ﺣﻴﺚ ﻟﻢ‬
‫‪.‬ﻳﺰل اﻟﻘﻠﺐ اﻟﻄﺒﻴﻌﻲ ﻟﻠﻄﻔﻠﺔ اﻟﻤﺮﻳﻀﺔ ﺧﻼل ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺔ اﻟﺰرع اﻟﺴﺎﺑﻘﺔ‪ ،‬واﻟﺘﻲ ﻗﺎم ﺑﻬﺎ اﻟﺴﻴﺮ ﻣﺠﺪي ﻳﻌﻘﻮب‬

‫ﺣﺼﻞ ﻋﻠﻰ زﻣﺎﻟﺔ ﻛﻠﻴﺔ اﻟﺠﺮاﺣﻴﻦ اﻟﻤﻠﻜﻴﺔ ﺑ‪Ơ‬ﻠﻨﺪن‪ ،‬وﺣﺼﻞ ﻋﻠﻰ أﻟﻘﺎب ودرﺟﺎت ﺷﺮﻓﻴﺔ ﻣﻦ ﻛﻼ ﻣﻦ‪ :‬ﺟﺎﻣﻌﺔ ﺑﺮوﻧﻴﻞ‪ ،‬وﺟﺎﻣﻌﺔ ﻛﺎردﻳﻒ‪ ،‬وﺟﺎﻣﻌﺔ ﻟﻮﻓﺒﺮا‪،‬‬
‫وﺟﺎﻣﻌﺔ ﻣﻴﺪﻟﺴﻜﺲ )ﺟﺎﻣﻌﺎت ﺑﺮﻳﻄﺎﻧﻴﺔ(‪ ،‬وﻛﺬﻟﻚ ﻣﻦ ﺟﺎﻣﻌﺔ ﻟﻮﻧﺪ ﺑ‪Ơ‬ﺎﻟﺴﻮﻳﺪ‪ .‬وﻟﻪ ﻛﺮاس ﺷﺮﻓﻴﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺟﺎﻣﻌﺔ ﻻﻫﻮر ﺑ‪Ơ‬ﺒﺎﻛﺴﺘﺎن‪ ،‬وﺟﺎﻣﻌﺔ ﺳﻴﻴﻨﺎ‬
