employers want people with experience, and chance of personal development. He believes that being
professional cannot all be learned in classes hence work experience is important.

employment while majority of them is having a problem in looking for jobs. The surveyed graduating
students also said that the required work experience was the biggest barrier in applying for job.

rate of graduating students now days. The pandemic makes the chances of work experience limited
because of certain restriction concerning the pandemic.

According to Sally Painter, author of the article “Unemployment causes and consequences”, young
adults find it difficult to find jobs because of their lack of experience. She added that they can’t gain the
work experience they need unless they find a job, but at the same time they can’t get most of the
available jobs because they don’t have the work experience employers are looking for. Painter also gave
some ways to gain work experience like on-the-job trainings, apprenticeship program and other forms of
training or education.

volunteering, joining part time study, getting involve in clubs and meet ups, applying for temporary job,
