Vo= 0 - the initial velocity was equal to zero because the ball wasn’t moving before it was thrown.
t2= .697 seconds - we measured the time in the air in the video
X= 11.8 m- we got the distance from where Maisie let go of the ball to where the ball ended.
X2= 8.2 m- we used a meter stick and measured the length from where Maisie began the throw to the spot where
the ball landed.
yo=2.028m - we measured the height from the ground to the point where Maisie held the ball.
First, we found mv₁: mass × the final velocity, then mass times initial velocity: mv.
After, we subtracted mv from mv₁ to get this equation, including our answer for
impulse.
