    SET A

    1. What is the difference between distance travelled and displacement? Explain with the help of a
    diagram.

    2. An ant travels a distance of 8cm from P to q and then moves a distance of 6cm right angles to
    PQ. Find its resultant displacement.

    SET B

    1. A body is moving along a circular path of radius R. What will be the distance travelled and
    displacement of the body when it covers half revolution?
    2. If in a round trip you travel 6km and then arrive back home:
    a) What distance have you travelled?
    b) What is your final displacement?

    SET C

    1. If the displacement of a body is zero, is it necessary that the distance covered by it also zero?
    2. A body travels a distance of 3km towards east , then 4km towards north and finally 9km towards
    east:
    a) What is the total distance travelled?
    b) What is the resultant displacement?
