The origin of Angono Private High School can be traced back to the year 1953.

It was the first secondary

school established in the town Angono by the men and women behind Juan Sumulong Memorial Schools
System. It was a labor of love for these men and women of vision, courage and determination who
pressed on to build an institution of learning committed to the total development of youth and the
nation’s development goals.

For sixty-six glorious years, APHS metamorphosed into a magnanimous institution under the able hands
of its caring teachers and dedicated administrators. It has produced a big number of prominent
individuals successful in their chosen field. Thousands of students who have passed through its portals
can reflect that once, they belong to the school that sheltered them with love.

It is an active member of RIPRISA (Rizal Private Schools Association Inc.) In addition to this, APHS is a
certified ESC participating school under the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) through the
Fund of Assistance to Private Education (FAPE). This means APHS has complied with the standards and
has conformed to the policies and requirements set by the Department of Education. As part of the ESC
program, APHS can better serve the community with the financial assistance from the government.

The school now holds the distinction of being the premier private secondary school in Angono and its
neighboring towns. Presently, the indefatigable Dr. Reynaldo D. Faustino serves as the school Direction
with Mrs. Gina Gil – De Leon as its dedicated Principal.

On its 67th year of existence, APHS pledges to continue its genuine service to the youth; to develop
talents and inculcate positive values among students. The primary commitment of its first founders, to
educate people will linger in the hearts and minds of its constituents.
