Water-reducing accelerator
admixture for concrete
DESCRIPTION
Dynamon SX 50 is a polycarboxylate ether (PCE) based,
non-chloride, water reducing and set-accelerating
admixture for concrete.
Dynamon SX 50 complies with AS1478.1 as Type WRAc,
water-reducing and set-accelerating.
WHERE TO USE
Dynamon SX 50 is used in all types of concrete where
water reduction and acceleration of finishing is required,
typically in cold ambient temperatures. Dynamon SX
50 improves both the plastic and hardened properties of
concrete.
Some application examples
• ready mixed concrete, pumped, sprayed or conventionally
placed especially in cold conditions.
• pre-stressed, standard weight or lightweight
• architectural concrete, coloured or exposed finish
• all concrete requiring a non-chloride water reducing and
set-accelerating admixture.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Dynamon SX 50 is a totally formaldehyde-free water
solution of acrylic polymers that can effectively disperse
cement granules with secondary components that
accelerate set and improve the cohesion and the
pumpability of concrete.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
It is preferable to add Dynamon SX 50 into the mixer after
all of the ingredients (cement, aggregates and water). The
action of Dynamon SX 50 is more effective when added
later, however may be added to the concrete with the initial
mixing water.
COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER PRODUCTS
Dynamon SX 50 is compatible with other products for
producing special concrete, especially with:
• Dynamon HAA, the non-chloride set-accelerating
admixture;
• air entraining admixtures from the Mapeair AE range;
• Mapeplast SF, silica fume based powder admixture
for manufacturing “top-quality” concrete (strength,
impermeability, durability);
• Expancrete and Mapecure SRA 25 expansive and
shrinkage-reduction admixture, to produce compensated-
shrinkage concrete or with no shrinkage;
• form-release agents DMA and Mapeform Eco for
releasing concrete from formworks;
• Mapecure curing emulsions to protect form-released
concrete structures form rapid water evaporation.
Each admixture should be dispensed and added separately
to the wetted concrete or to the initial batching water.

Dynamon SX 50 is available in 200 litre
drums, 1000 litre IBCs and bulk.

after long-term practical application; for
this reason, anyone who intends to use the
product must ensure beforehand that it is
suitable for the envisaged application. In
every case, the user alone is fully responsible
for any consequences deriving from the use
of the product.
