1. Why did the United Nations secretary call millennium goals ambitious?
- Because extreme poverty continues to be one of the main challenges of our time.

2. As a student, what are the things you can contribute to achieving this ambitious
millennium development goal?
- I can contribute my knowledge of what I know to help them fully achieve the
millennium development goals.

3. In your observation of everyday life, do you think that the Millennium development
goals achieve their goals? Yes or no? Justify your answers.
- It made progress, yes, but the problem that they are facing is still there and will continue
to be there if they maintain their small effort of making progress.

4. Do you think that the government of the Philippines did its part in millennium
development goals? Yes or no?
- Yes, because the Philippines is one of the 189 United Nations member countries that
adopted the Millennium Development Goals. The Philippines had made considerable progress in
attaining the Millennium Development Goals.

5. If you have the opportunity to reach or approach the United Nations, what are the ideas
you can present in poverty? Give at least 3 and explain.
1.) Eliminating poverty through equity.
One of the main causes of poverty is inequality. The systemic barriers that lead to groups
of people going without representation in their communities leave them further behind in terms
of resources and opportunities. In order for a community, or even a country, to alleviate poverty,
all groups and identities must be involved in creating solutions.
2.) Commit to Climate Change solutions and Creating Solutions.
Allow volunteers to come and find solutions to climate change, particularly in the parts of
high-income countries whose carbon emissions are than those of low-income countries.
3.) Eradicating Poverty through Education.
If all adults completed secondary education, we could cut the global rate by more than
half.
