PRODUCT USE AND MAINTENANCE (B1-B7) VP-043-C

During product use and its reference service life of 15 years, the impacts
of refrigerant leakage of 3,1 % annually, corresponding refrigerant refill
and operational energy use have been taken into account. The electricity
consumption is based on the sales volume-based weighted average data
(Slovakia). No replacement of components or parts is included.
Air, soil, and water impacts during the use phase have not been studied.

PRODUCT END OF LIFE (C1-C4, D) VP-049-C

The energy consumption in demolition and de-construction process is
assumed to be negligible. It is assumed that the waste container is
transported to a waste collection center where it is separated and sorted
into respective components. Transportation distance to a waste collection
center is assumed to be 100 km and the transportation method is assumed
to be lorry.
All electric and electronic waste, batteries, plastics and glass is assumed to
be recycled according to the website of the contracted waste processing
company SEWA. For the remaining waste types such as lubricating oil,
paint and refrigerant, the default values from table G.4 of standard EN
50693 were used for treating materials in different waste treatment
methods.
