1. General information

1.1 Premiums
Premiums are payable in advance by debit order and will be collected from your bank account.
It is your responsibility to make sure that there is enough money in your bank account to pay
your premiums. Your policy will lapse if your premiums are not paid and we will then not pay
any claims.

1.2 You may include new members

You may include new members on your policy by contacting Absa Life on the telephone
number given above.

1.3 Claims
Claims may be reported at any Absa branch.

2. Waiting periods
Your policy has waiting periods, which is the time during which Absa Life will not settle claims:

2.1 Six months from the time that Absa Life collects the first premium for the main
member, spouse and children if death is due to natural causes.
2.2 Six months from the time that Absa Life collects the first premium for extended
family of 65 and below if death is due to natural causes.
2.3 Twelve months from the time that Absa Life collects the first premium for
extended family above the age of 66 up to 75 years if death is due to natural
causes.
2.4 No waiting period applies if death is due to unnatural causes, provided Absa Life
has collected the first premium.

Absa Life.
