II. WHAT IS THE MIRANDA DOCTRINE? ANALYZE ITS SIGNIFICANCE.
The Miranda Doctrine are secured by the 5th and 6th Amendments, which
assert that you have the right to remain silent. As you have heard, any statement
you make can and will be used against you in court. You also have the right to
consult with a lawyer during any interrogation. If you cannot afford legal
representation, a lawyer may be appointed to you at no cost to you. These
“Miranda Doctrine” apply when a suspect is taken into custody and prior to any
interrogation. However, you must speak up to remain silent. You must clearly and
unambiguously make it known that you are not going to speak.
III. BRING A PICTURE OF THE LADY JUSTICE. DESCRIBE THE PICTURE AND EXPLAIN
WHY SHE IS CALLED SUCH.

This is the LADY JUSTICE; some common names are the Scales of Justice or
Blind Justice. More so, Lady Justice originates from the personification of Justice
in Ancient Roman art known as lustitia or justitia, who is equivalent to the Greek
goddess Dike. In addition, she is well known for her clear sightedness, she
typically holds a sword in one hand and scales in the other. In conclusion, this
image of Lady Justice makes me feel that the process of justice is more complex
than people really think.
