EGR System
EGR system mensirkulasi sebagian exhaust gas kembali ke inlet manifold. Gas yang disirkulasi ini akan becampur
dengan gas dari udara luar masuk ke ruang bakar. Dengan cara ini temperature pembakaran akan dapat diturunkan dan
kadar NOx dapat ditekan.
Ketika condisi operasional EGR terpenuhi (engine speed, dan temperature coolant), ECM akan mengontrol kevakuman
pada EGR valve yang diatur oleh EGR control valve sehingga posisi bukaan EGR valve dan jumlah gas yang disirkulasi
dapat diatur.

Changing the Fuel Filter

Main fuel filter

1. Masukan flat-head screwdriver kedalam groove pada fuel filter body dan putar union untuk sedikit meloggarkan.
2. Putar union dengan tangan unutk memisahkan filter body. Pada saat ini, check posisi tanda dari filter body dan element
case.

Notice!
• Ketika melepas filter body, bahan bakar mungkin keluar dari filter body. Dengan menggunakan kawat (wire) atau
benda lainya, secara sepat posisikan pada posisi yang lebih tinggi sehingga bahan bakar tidak keluar.

3. Lepas element dari filter body.

4. Hubungkan salah satu ujung selang plastik ke drain plug di bagian bawah kotak elemen dan tempatkan ujung selang
lainnya di dalam wadah untuk menerima bahan bakar yang dikeringkan.
5. Longgarkan drain plug untuk mengalirkan bahan bakar. Setelah dikuras, kencangkan drain plug.
6. Lepaskan cincin-O dari elemet case.
7. Gunakan kain bersih untuk menyeka benda asing yang terkumpul di permukaan bagian dalam badan filter. Selain itu,
bersihkan semua benda asing atau kotoran di dalam kotak elemen. Pada saat ini, periksa apakah pelampung di bagian
bawah interior kotak elemen bergerak dengan bebas dan lancar.

CAUTION
• Jangan gunakan udara bertekanan untuk menghilangkan benda asing. Menggunakan udara bertekanan dapat
menyebabkan masuknya benda asing ke dalam saluran bahan bakar. (Mesin dapat rusak jika benda asing masuk.)
Gunakan kain bersih untuk menghilangkan kotoran.

8. Pasang O-ring baru ke element case dan secara perlahan lapisi O-ring dengan diesel fuel.

9. Lapisi gasket bagian dalam dan luar dari elemen baru dengan bahan bakar diesel. Masukkan elemen ke dalam badan
filter.

CAUTION

• Setelah memasukkan elemen ke dalam filter body, periksa apakah paking luar terpasang dengan aman di alur
elemen. Pemasangan yang tidak tepat dapat menyebabkan masuknya benda asing ke saluran bahan bakar yang
mengakibatkan kerusakan mesin

10. Tahan elemen yang dimasukkan ke dalam filter body dengan tangan Anda, pasang badan filter ke wadah elemen.
Setelah menyelaraskan posisi pelurusan filter body dan element case, sejajarkan cakar pada badan filter dengan notche
elemen case dan kencangkan union sampai tanda pada union berada posisi yang sesuai dengan titik sambungan
selang, sambil memegang badan saringan.
11. Keluarkan udara dari sistem bahan bakar.
12. Nyalakan mesin dan periksa apakah tidak ada kebocoran bahan bakar dari filter bahan bakar

• Periksa apakah tidak ada kerusakan pada selang bahan bakar seperti retak. Periksakan kendaraan Anda ke dealer
Isuzu terdekat sesegera mungkin jika ada kerusakan selang bahan bakar seperti retak.

pastikan untuk menggunakan bahan bakar diesel rendah sulfur (mengandung sulfur 50 ppm atau lebih
rendah) atau bahan bakar diesel ekstra rendah sulfur (mengandung sulfur 10 ppm atau lebih rendah).
Penggunaan bahan bakar diesel belerang tinggi, bahan bakar berkualitas buruk, penghilang air dan aditif lainnya,
bensin, minyak tanah, atau bahan bakar berbasis alkohol baik sebagai atau sebagai bagian dari campuran tidak
hanya dapat menyebabkan filter bahan bakar yang sangat terpengaruh dan geser yang buruk komponen yang
dilumasi bahan bakar di dalam injektor, tetapi juga kerusakan mesin sebagai akibat dari efek buruknya pada
mesin dan konverter katalitik PM. Jika Anda tidak sengaja memasukkan bahan bakar yang salah ke dalam tangki,
tiriskan semuanya. Menghidupkan mesin dengan bahan bakar yang salah di dalam tangki dapat mengakibatkan
kebakaran dan kerusakan mesin.
