Hookstrip Screens

MAGNUM* XR* hookstrip screens combine the M-I SWACO

patented, premium XR wire mesh with the patented
MAGNUM support structure connected with a single-piece
hook, folded and shaped to completely grip the mesh along the
entire length of the screen. The result is a screen design that
maximizes fluid processing and prolongs screen life. The secure
hook shows unparalleled strength in the field and is far superior
to two- and three-piece hook models that hold the mesh with
only a few spot welds across the metal surface. A newly devel-
oped patent-pending feature of the MAGNUM hookstrip sup-
port structure is a very coarse fourth layer that bonds only to
