BSA1C ACTIVITY 1

NEWS SUMMARY (70 words)

I've read news articles about how crises like the Covid-19 pandemic and Russia's invasion of Ukraine
affect the globalization sequence. These crises have slowed global trade and caused significant
economic damage, resulting in international inflation. The pandemic shed a negative light on
globalization's flaws, prompting an immediate search for alternative strategies across the political
spectrum. This major problem can't be solved by one country alone, thus, this needs global cooperation.

OWN DEFINITION OF GLOBALIZATION

The latest news regarding the $14.36 billion investment reaped by the Philippines from other countries
is one example of globalization. Through this, I’ve reached the conclusion to define globalization as the
interdependence and interconnectedness of the countries around the world in terms of the economy,
services, products, people, information, and technology.
