ANALYSIS OF LESSON PLAN ON CONTEXTUALIZATION

1. Download or select a lesson plan that employs contextualization in any subject in the
elementary grades.
2. Dissect the lesson plan by analyzing it based on activity 2 (page ___) of your textbook.
3. Evaluate the lesson plan using the evaluation tool provided.
4. Answer the following questions.
a. Is the lesson plan contextualized, localized, or indigenized? Explain your answer extensively.
b. If you were to write the lesson plan, what are the things you would add or remove? Why?
c. How did you feel while writing/evaluating the lesson plan? In your own opinion, does
contextualization help the student in understanding the lesson? Why or why not?
