Project Title Killer Lobster (Short Film)

Section 1: Rationale (approx. 150 words)

Over the course of the 3 years I have been doing media the biggest thing I
have improved on is defiantly my camera work. I have learnt so much from all
of my projects for being behind the camera myself and learning from other
people who are already good at camera. I know what camera angle are
effective where and what all the different setting on the camera does. This
course has also increased my confidence with talking to people as I use to be
the type of person to avoid conversation but now I always talking to
everyone. My editing skill has improved a lot as before I knew nothing and
now I know what editing software is use for and I have now also started to
learn After Effects which is a addon to Premier Pro where you can get some
insane editing effects.

Section 2: Project Concept (approx. 200 words)

For my final project I will be creating a short comedy film which is a prequel
to my TV drama about a killer lobster who is trying to take over the world.
However since this is a prequel it takes place before the killer lobster was a
killer lobster and follows the life of a man called Larry who is a unemployed
loser who lives on his only friends couch. With this project I am trying to
make something that will make everybody laugh while following this plot and
expand on this world that has been created on the Killer Lobster. I aim to
make sure that the jokes in the short film can be understood by everyone
who watches it because if they don’t get half of the jokes what is the point but
also while making it a comedy I want to have some amazingly shot scenes of
the area we are filming because I will be using some extremely beautiful
places to film and with this project I really want to show off my skills I have
learnt on this course. I will be using my own camera as I how to use it the
best as I have the most experience with it.
