    WHAT IS DU POINT ANALYSIS ?

    The Dupont analysis is an expanded return on equity formula, calculated by multiplying the net
    profit margin by the asset turnover by the equity multiplier. The DuPont analysis is also known as the
    DuPont identity or DuPont model.

    it’s a way to calculate return-on-equity, but it’s also a great way for a consultant to get smart on a company
    quickly. It’s a great first step in tearing apart financials and comparing companies from the same industry.
