This was paced well, and a certain poise and control pervaded. There needed more contour
in the figurations as well as greater tonal consistency in places, but you maintained an even
sense of flow and the phrases were generally well directed.

A lively sense of character and spirit was present and you played with positive rhythmic lift.
There was a tendency to rush in places, and the rhythms weren’t always rhythmically firm,
particularly when playing the quaver figures, but much of this was played with stylish intent.
