robotics in medicine

It is almost unimaginable all the progress that

technology has had in the field of
medicine, we would never have thought that these
two types of scientific areas would have been
could get together in a certain way in which they
provide help to the people who
they need.

Currently robotics is not only applied in the field of

military research, it is also applied in medicine in its
different branches such as surgeries, medical
assistance, rehabilitation.

I now present the advantages and disadvantages.

For me these are the main advantages of robotics in
medicine

The objective of care robots is to improve the

quality of life of people with different abilities or
who are ill, providing them with greater autonomy
and safety. Generally, robots intended for
this purpose, they are designed for specific
environments (hospital, residence)

Rehabilitation is the set of procedures aimed at

helping a person to reach the fullest physical and
psychological potential.

A robot that allows patients who have lost mobility

in some part of the body to be rehabilitated.

Robotic surgery is the application of robots to

different techniques
surgical and consist of
treatment of a patient by robots
handled by a surgeon.
During robotic surgery, the surgeon has less tactile
sensation of the tissue

If the surgeon makes a mistake in handling the

robotic arms, it would be very difficult to correct.
the surgeon must be more prepared.

Cost of using these robotic equipment, for most

patients the robotic use of medicine is very
expensive and they could not use it. In general, it
could only be used by people who have a lot of
money or in large cities.

The vast majority of people from poor cities do not

agree with the application of robotics in medicine,
because they think it is not safe. but I think that in
the future we will all agree with the advancement of
medicine.

conclusion
We have seen how robotics has been installed to
stay for a long time
in medicine, and although progress is slow due to
the complexity of the
systems and to the demand for high quality, we see
that your success is already made.
