Disconnect from the power source when cleaning or servicing this

machine.

Never attempt to clean this machine while it is in motion, or serious injury

could result.

Never operate this machine with safety covers or inspection plates

removed or with safety switches inoperative.

WORKING SAFETY

Working Safety

The machine must be used only by personnel suitably trained for the purpose
and who has been trained in the contents of this publication.

To ensure safety work, comply with the following items:

1. Install the machine in compliance with workplace safety requirement.

2. Use the machine with great care and never be distracted.
3. Do not wear loose fitting clothing or clothing with wide or open sleeves.
4. Do not remove, cover or modify the identification plates placed on the
machine body.
5. Do not neglect the mechanical and electrical protection device.
6. Work on the products permitted.
7. Do not use the machine as a working top and do not place any objects on it
that are not required for normal working operations.
8. Do not use the machine with temporary electric connections or non-insulated
cables.
9. Periodically check the state of the power cable and cable clamp on the
machine body, replace it as soon as is necessary by qualified electrician.
10. Stop the machine immediately as soon as there is any defective or abnormal
operation, breakage, incorrect movements, or unusual noise.
11. Before cleaning or carrying out maintenance, disconnect the machine from
the power supply.
12. Use protective working gloves for cleaning and maintenance.

INTRODUCTION

Introduction

The Sinmag Planetary Mixer has been designed for years of trouble-free
operation in today’s modern bakery. Every feature designed into this machine
has been carefully tested. The machine has been proven to gently handle a
wide variety of dough and produce a high quality product. It does this while
maintaining the highest standard of safety.
All the Planetary Mixer are with 10 whipping speeds, they are specially used for
mixing liquid ingredients, viscid ingredients and dough.
All the attachment and bowl which come into contact with the products are
food-grade, it can ensure that the products from the bowl has a good quality for
sanitary requirement.
The production process is electrically controlled. By means of control panel and
inverter, it is convenient for operator to shift the speed without stopping the
machine.
Owners and operators should carefully read this entire instruction manual
before attempting to operate this machine. This will familiarize you with the
proper operation and important feature of your new mixer. This will also ensure
that you receive years of safe and trouble-free operation.
All of the information, illustrations and specifications presented in this manual
are based on the latest product information available at the time of printing.

INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING

Installation

After uncrating the machine, inspect it carefully to see whether there is any
damage that might have occurred during shipment. Report any damage to us
before proceeding. Never attempt to operate this machine with damaged or
inoperable parts.

The mixer is ready for installation, it should be stationed on a dry and stable
place which has enough space that allows for easy access to the units controls
and working areas, as well as to the top, front and sides for cleaning and
servicing.

Electric Connection

Before making the electric connection, read the specification on the name plate
to ensure that they match those of your power supply. Connect the electric
cables to the machine with a circuit breaker which is about 1.5m high over
ground, the ground protection should be necessary.

The electric connection cable doesn’t have a plug, so this has to be done by an
electrician who will observe all applicable safety codes and the national electric
codes.

Appropriate electrical service should be available within the reach of the

included power cord. Don’t use any extensions to connect the machine power
cord to the electrical outlet.

Connect the right power supply according to the indication on the machine
nameplate. And the electric current value of your power supply must be steady,
otherwise it will do damage to the inverter.

Commissioning

After connecting the machine to the power supply, release the emergency stop
button to turn on the machine, lift the bowl to the top position. Then start the
mixer to see whether the machine head is rotating in the correct direction. When
looking from above, the mixing head should rotate clockwise, shown as the
arrow on the mixing head. If not, please swap any two of the three phases till it
rotates in the correct direction.

OPERATION

Agitator

When assembling an agitator, the bowl must be in the bottom position. Slip the
agitator up on the shaft and turn it until the drive pin is fixed in the bush.

Three agitators are available, each suited to a particular job.

hook beater whipping ball

The hook is used for small quantity of dough; The beater is commonly used for
thin butters and mashing potatoes; The whipping ball is best for mixing the
cream and eggs.

To make the machine could be used for a long period with the best effect, please
read the below list carefully before proceeding to operate the machine. This list
shows the usage of different tools for mixing different ingredients. Also this list
shows the suitable speed for mixing different ingredients.

Caution: Please follow the above capicity list, do not try to overload, otherwise it
is very easy to damage the planetary mixer.

OPERATION

Control Panel

See above picture.

1). The left below the “Control” is speed display, green is start button,
red is stop button, and is speed shift button. During operation,
press or to increase or decrease the number on the , the number
ranges from 01 to 10 (but not circulatory), 01 is for the slowest speed, 10 is for
the fastest speed. You can change speed during the machine is running (no
need to stop the machine).

2). The right below the “Timer” is running time display, the number units is
minute. The alarm clock and or are time control button, press ,
the number on will increase from 10 to 70 (the number is a multiple of 10).
When the number on is 70, if we press , “--” will display. When we
press again, will display 10, that is the display on is a single
circulation. Press or , the number on will increase or decrease
from 01 to 99 (the number is a multiple of 1), When the number on is 01, if
we press , will display “--” (don’t circulate).

3). “On” is indication lamp for machine running condition. Ordinary light shows
the machine is in running condition with no timing; Red light flicker shows the
machine is in running condition with timing; Light off shows the machine is in
stop condition.

4). If the safety grid is open or bowl

5). Red button is Emergency Switch. Press this button when there is something
emergent, and the machine will stop immediately. If we want to resume its work,
we only need to turn the button in the direction of the arrow, then the button will
popup and the machine runs.

Operation Steps

1. Connect the machine to the power supply and then release the emergency
stop button to switch on the machine.

2. Lower the bowl bracket to the bottom position.

3. Put the agitator in the bowl and fix the bowl on the bowl bracket by locking the
handle.
4. Install the proper agitator.
5. Put the material into the bowl.
6. Lift the bowl to the top position, then close the safety grid.
7. Set the right speed and kneading time according to the actual condition, and
press the button to start the mixing.
8. Open the safety grid when the mixing reachs the estimate effect.
9. Lower the bowl to the bottom position.
10. Isolate the machine from the power supply, then turn the fixed handle to
loosen the bowl.
11. Take down the bowl and the agitator, be careful that don’t leave the
agitator in the bowl, finally pour the mixture.

CLEANING AND MAINTENENCE

Cleaning
1). Use the wet cloth to clean the machine after daily use, do not wash it with a
running water.
2). Clean the bowl and agitator after daily use. And wipe up them with cloth to
keep the bowl without seeper.
3). Keep the bowl, agitator and other parts contacting with ingredient clean
before daily use.
4). Every 2 or 3 months, open the top cover board and back cover board and
clean the inside.

Maintenance
Every month:
1. Check the components to see whether they are in good condition and the
conveyor belts are in good tension.
2. Check the Condition of the power cable, replace them as is necessary.
3. As the shaking of the machine running, rescrew all the bolts every month.
4. Open the back cover board, grease the gear wheel, worm and other mesh
parts.
5. Grease the drive gear wheel, steps:
a). Remove the safety cover, and you will see an oiling hole on the planetary
head.
b). Grease the machine through filling oil hole.
c). Turn on the machine to check the machine running and noise, when it is
normal, clear the oil around the oiling hole with cloth.
d). Install the safety cover.
