1. The words that I formed were family, friends, networks, classmates, and
organization.
2. I can relate to the picture/s above because I have friends, classmates. I join
organizations and have a lot of networks. Of course, I have a family of mine.
Surely, all these things show us different kinds of relationships a person could
have and socialize with.

WHAT’S MORE
LEARNING TASK 3
1. Pretend that you belong to a particular in-group in your class. You noticed that one
classmate from your class does not belong to any group. What would you do? Would
you invite him to join in-group? Why? Why not?
My action would really depend on the situation on hand. Firstly, there is a
possibility that he is introvert and he prefers more to be alone so I must
respect him if that’s the case. Two, being a classmate, I think it must be a
natural thing that we as his classmates to make him feel comfortable with
us because at the end of the day, we are classmates, learning together in
one room, even doing group activities. In anyway, it would be a nice thing
to atleast invite him in our in-group if it seems comfortable for him.
2. The Sangguniang Kabataan of your barangay approached your group in school to help
them in the feeding program of the community. They also asked the help of the other
groups from your school. What would you do to help the SK officials? Would you ask the

the queue of people organized who would come to the place. For such out-
groups, I think this would be a great start for them to be able to interact
with different people and this would mean that many diverse individuals
will get together and communicate sharing different stories, so it would be
really great to invite out-groups, especially in doing something for the
common good.

WHAT I CAN DO
LEARNING TASK 5

Question: Think of a group that you belong to. How does this group influence you as
a student?

The group that I belong to is my circle of male friends that are also my
classmates and we call our group as TP Council, which has started during the
merging of the two SSC classes of our batch in our 9th grade and we were
altogether for the whole school year.

They influence me as a student by having experiences and memories with them

– either crazy or the teenager-likes – when we get together as well as having
them supporting me in my school endeavors and competition inside and
outside the school.

I influence them by being the good example because if this really true I feel like
I’m the most ‘matino’ and serious of them all because of how dedicate I am in
my studies. I’m like the balancer of them and guide them in our ways. I’m also
more of their helper and their guru in studies and projects to do, and it was
just like give and take for me and for them to be in this group.

They help me fulfill my ambitions in life by always supporting me in all of my

endeavors and decisions as well as understanding me all throughout my rants
and problems in life. Not only me, but they also give me sensible advices
which is more in practicalities in life and living our lives to the fullest. I’m
happy that throughout my high school years, they’ve been there for me as my
true friends.
