• Indonesia has already developed researches and applications related to Green Pavement.

• There are some challenges encountered especially regarding specific Indonesia problem, which are:
• Limitation of infrastructure services in term of quantity and quality that derived high traffic with low speed
in the network.
• Very low control of load on pavement that create an overloaded network.
• Limitation of resources for the related researches.
• Low level of pavement condition as a result of viewpoints mentioned above.

• The need for new technology within the context of Green Pavement is very high especially related to pavement
maintenance system.
