TASK A
Step 1: collect images of two products that are used in your house (during Cchath/Diwali
celebration). Of the two products, one should be a product of rural origin and the other should be
product of urban origin. The products of rural origin are the products that are produced in rural
areas by rural producers/manufacturers using resources from rural areas and products of urban

Explanation of Image 1
As per my mother every new can be used for lighting either the Diya is made up of silver
or copper, but Diya made up of mud and clay is found to be more pure.
Also, it helps the small vendors for their livelihood.
Explanation of Image 2
In any Hindu festival light plays the important role, and also there is the traditional use of
it therefore I found Diya would be the best fit.
I didn’t use the clothing pics because it is not important to wear the new or traditional
cloths, we can wear any cloth which I clean.
I didn’t use the pic of Daura because it is not important, it is only used to carry the soup
to the Ghat.
