As a student from SSO!

I have learned a lot from the course from the written works,
quizzes, and grouped performance tasks. One of the best things that I can apply in my
everyday life is listening to the class and reading some modules because there are
particular laws to specific stuff. An example of this is laws in OFW. I might use that in
real life if someone I know is an OFW and needs to know its rules. I also learned about
different changes in society like cultural, political, and social changes that may affect me
and everyone around me.
Through the course, I can say that SSO1 impacted me because I learned numerous
things, such as society could play a significant role in everyone. That community can
sometimes help us know and get information that we are not aware of. Also, by
watching different documentaries about different cultures, I learned that culture
determines how we see things and can decide how we react to other things. Above all
this information, I can relate to all of this by simply living my life and even without
knowing that I'm doing it. I can immerse myself in many cultures, societies, and politics
by watching different TV shows, documentaries, news, and even social media.
I've recently come across the 17 different SDGs about starting my 12th grade, and by
learning the course, the SDGs were made to combat other things like climate change,
no poverty, sustainability, and more. Other subjects, such as my research subject,
required us to research SDGs. Overall, SSO1 has helped me learn everything I need to
know about culture, society, and politics and hopefully relate some of the lessons
through my everyday life.
