WK 15 Case Study
WK 15 Case Study
Implementing a learning process in your organization can be a massive advantage for newly hired
employees who don't have enough work experience. One of the problems they may face in the future
may be employees who don't have enough knowledge to perform particular tasks, so having a training
course can help them avoid this situation.
I would implement the training process after the orientation of the newly hired. Giving the new
employees time to learn their job and learn new skills can be a benefit to the company and the
employee. It can help the organization increase their production rate since there will be new employees
who have a new set of skills; and for the employee to have fewer mistakes in doing its job. Training
methods are the means sought to achieve the training objectives. After determining the training needs
and clearly defining the objectives, it is necessary to determine and select the appropriate training
methods to achieve the set goals. There are various training methods available, but their suitability is
assessed based on the organization's training needs.
Would you rather choose who already know how to do things or choose a person that need training?
Kindly elaborate and discuss as if you are the person involved in the case.
In the hiring process, everyone should have goals and don't make the same mistake twice.
Putting myself in their shoes to hire new employees, I would choose someone who can be trained and
qualified for the job that way; that person can understand how the other employees’ work. Because if I
hire people who already know the job and are qualified for the job, it can lead to the same problem the
organization is trying to solve. Yes, there are more advantages to hiring someone who already knows
their job than hiring someone who still needs training. However, given the history of the organization,
systematic changes are necessary.
Hiring and training new people can be time-consuming, but it avoids the challenges your organization
faces. Hiring employees is a trial and error; you would not know if they are qualified and fit for the
position until you let them work on hand. Inexperienced employees are easy to manage because they
are genuine in their work, and they are more willing to add more for their contribution, which is an
advantage when the organization struggles to produce. Inexperienced employees do not demand high
salaries but are inclined to do more to gain recognition, which is a plus for the organization. The most
experienced employees are tough and tough to manage and have a rational approach to problem-
solving. Even skilled employees demand high salaries and can be expensive for the company.
Experienced employees may not learn new ways of working since they always believe in good ways to
get the results they want.
Challenges are unavoidable in any business and organization. If you want to grow your business and
have an innovative project that will either break or make the company: you should expect that there will
be a tremendous hurdle that your company will encounter. To be successful in any venture in life, you
need to go through everything.
