What to Wear for

Your Team
Building Day
What Should You Wear for your Team Building
Day?
Women can wear different styles of
outdoor outfits. Some women prefer wearing
jogging pants, while others would prefer to
wear shorts during the activities. Oftentimes
you’ll see men wearing their favorite band
shirt or wearing their idol’s basketball jersey.
While there’s no concrete protocol on what
and what not to wear while going outdoors,
here’s a list of do’s and don’t’s on preparing your
Outdoor Outfit of the Day:
DO (The ideal clothes for your active
day)

• Wear clothes made of synthetic,

lightweight materials. This will keep
you dry throughout the activities as
you start to sweat more throughout
the day.
● The best material to wear is something
soft and moisture wicking. Other
material options include polyester and
merino wool. These types of clothes
allow your body to breathe more,
releasing body heat from exercising.
Light colored clothing is the best option
for your OoTD. Select those shirts that
are typically made for running, or those
with dry-wicking technology to keep
yourself cool throughout the day.
● It’s up to you if you want to wear
either a short-sleeved or a long-
sleeved shirt. Consider checking the
type of weather you’ll be encountering
on your team building date. While long
sleeves may be a bit uncomfortable to
wear under the heat of the sun, short-
sleeved shirts will not protect your
arms from sunburn and scratches.
● Wearing pants or shorts is entirely up to you.
Pants can help protect your legs, but they
may be uncomfortable to wear. Shorts on the
other hand, may be cooler to wear, but it will
not protect you again from sunburn,
scratches, and insect bites.
● We recommend wearing outdoor appropriate
clothing. While we know that you may have
something to flaunt, team building activities
test your physical and mental aptitude.
Wearing too much or too little will only
interfere with your performance.
● To make the most out of your outdoor team
building activities here in Quest, we suggest
that you wear shoes or outdoor boots to
prevent injuries. Of course, your footwear
should be fit enough to wear to prevent blisters.
If you’re on a tight budget, wearing outdoor
sandals is a better option. Wear outdoor
sandals that have multiple straps, so it won’t
slip off.
● Wearing socks is fine, but wear socks that are
waterproof and easy to dry. Because of the
range of activities here in Quest, you will get
wet and dirty. Wear socks to keep your feet
warm and dry.
● Accessories such as hats and
sunglasses are fine, as long as it
won’t bother your performance
during the activities. Head bandanas
are also fine for added sun protection.
● Due to the changing weather here in
the Philippines, it would be a nice
investment to wear something
waterproof to keep yourself dry and
warm during the activities.
DO NOT (The not comfy idea)
• Wear dark-colored clothing. We understand
that black might be your favorite color, but
we strongly discourage people from
wearing dark-colored clothing. Dark colored
clothing absorbs more heat, and can be
directly transmitted to your skin, leaving
you in heat.
• Wear clothes made of cotton. Cotton may
be comfortable at first, but once you start
sweating, cotton doesn’t help too much in
expelling heat from the body.
• Jeans, khaki, or any type of material of
the like is highly discouraged. These
thick materials will only hamper your
performance during the activities. Plus,
it’s difficult to move and it’s
considerably hotter to wear thick
clothing.
• Add too much layers on your outfit. A
sando beneath a breathable shirt may be
OK, but wearing sweatshirts or jackets
over your attire will make you sweat
more.
● Wear slippers or slip-ons. Things can get
pretty muddy especially here at the
camp. You might get stuck often or slip
at wet terrain, so don’t bring your
Havaianas with you! You may wear your
flip-flops at the campsite during rest
hours, but we highly discourage wearing
them during activities.
● Wear clothing that is too revealing.
You’ll be prone to sunburn, scratches,
and insect bites.
● Wear clothing that is too large or too
small for your size. You’d want to move
freely, without the hassle of pants
falling halfway a sprint or your shirt
falling off your shoulders.
● Wear too much accessories outdoors. As much as
possible, leave your jewelry at home. Watches,
rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and like should
be left at home for safekeeping. If you still want
to look kikay, we recommend wearing stud
earrings instead of the hanging ones. Make sure to
secure your wedding ring; if you have to resize it,
the better.
● Other accessories such as your Bluetooth
wireless headset wouldn’t be appropriate to
wear, and it might get lost during the
activities, so leave it at home!
● Wearing the right outdoor clothing on your
team building day can mean a big difference
between being comfortable throughout the
activities, or getting sweaty, scratched up, wet,
dirty and even sunburnt. Enjoy your time
preparing for the right clothes to wear during
your team building activities here in Quest
Adventure Camp, and start building your team
through play.
Thankyou!!
