Instructions
Academic Holmes Institute is committed to ensuring and upholding academic integrity. All
Integrity assessment must comply with academic integrity guidelines. Important academic
Information integrity breaches include plagiarism, collusion, copying, impersonation, contract
cheating, data fabrication and falsification. Please learn about academic integrity
and consult your teachers with any questions. Violating academic integrity is
serious and punishable by penalties that range from deduction of marks, failure of
the assessment task or unit involved, suspension of course enrolment, or
cancellation of course enrolment.
Format • Most assessments must be in MS Word format with no spacing, 11-pt Calibri
Instructions font and at least 2cm margins on all four sides with appropriate section
headings and page numbers.
• You must name your file with the Unit Code and Student ID (e.g. “HI5003-
GWA1995”).
• Check that you submit the correct document as special consideration is not
granted if you make a mistake.
• Student ID needs to be indicated on the cover page.
Penalties • All work must be submitted on Blackboard by the due date and time along
with a completed Assessment Cover Page. Late penalties apply.
• Reference sources must be cited in the text of the report, and listed
appropriately at the end in a reference list using Holmes Institute Adapted
Harvard Referencing. Penalties are associated with incorrect citation and
referencing.

Assignment Description:
You are expected to complete a critique and conduct a literature review to discuss a contemporary issue
which an IS professional may experience and identify appropriate approaches to address thisissue.
The topic is “The project management trends that lead to its success” You need to search in the
literature and find at least ten (10) academic research papers (references) related to this topic. (Academic
papers can be found in ProQuest. ProQuest instruction can be found in below. Please contact Liberian
if you have further question).
A draft of the research paper (key points/headings) will be submitted initially (refer the draft due date)
whereby students can receive feedback. Then students should submit the final research paper in the
Blackboard by the last week of the trimester (refer the draft due date).

Referencing: reference sources must be cited in the text of the report, and listed
appropriately at the end in a reference list using Harvard referencing style.
2. Academic References: A the academic papers and references that are used in the
assignmentneed to be cited in the report under the following rules:
Holmes has been implementing as a pilot program using a revised/adapted Harvard approach to
referencing. The following guidelines apply:
• Reference sources in assignments are limited to sources which provide full text access to the source’s
content for lecturers and markers.
• The Reference list should be located on a separate page at the end of the essay and titled: References.
• It should include the details of all the in-text citations, arranged alphabetically A-Z by author
surname. In addition, it MUST include a hyperlink to the full text of the cited reference source.

• All assignments will require additional in-text reference details, which will consist of the surname of the

What you need to submit for final submission:
1. Assignment File: You need to submit the final version of your assignment in session 13. The
final submission must comply with the draft structure and draw heavily from the key references.
The structure of the final submission is headings and in discussion critically analyse each
reference and discuss how these references reflecting the proposed topic.

submission due date and time. After the due date and time have elapsed your
assignment will be graded as late. Submitted assignments that indicate a high level
