• Co-designed unit on sampling and inference, culminating in a polling project where students make their own
question in a survey and analyze the proportion of one answer choice or another
• Integrated cooperative learning activities on a daily basis, checking in with each group to make sure they can
succeed
• Used a variety of different technological tools in class, such as Google Sheets, Kahoot, Desmos, Quizlet live,
and PowerPoint slides
• Observed other math and computer science classes of all levels to see different teaching styles, participated
in math department and Precalculus team meetings weekly
