Subject: Delegation of Financial Powers

Under the powers vested in undersigned as the Head of Department vide rule 14 of
Delegation of Financial Power Rule 1978 (Rule 1 of the Delegation of Financial Power Rules
1958). I, XYZ, CDA, Jabalpur hereby declares that Shri ABCD, Senior Accounts Officer of this
office delegate administrative and financial powers indicated below with effect from 12.02.2023
to sanction and incur contingent expenditure on my behalf:-

(i) Contingent Expenditure:

(a) Punching Medium Rs. 1,00,00,000 (Rupees One Crore only) in each case.
(b) Contingent Expenditure Rs. 1,000 (Rupees One thousand only) in each case.
(ii) Countersignature of personal claims up to Senior Auditors.
(iii) Sanction of leave up to AAO as per rules.

2. The exercise of powers as delegated in this order shall be subject to the following
conditions:

(a) The officer to whom the powers have been delegated shall be personally
responsible for the propriety and regularity of sanction accorded and expenditure incurred,
as per rules procedures for exercise of such powers from time to time.

(b) These powers shall not be re-delegated to any subordinate authority.

(c) Financial powers shall be accorded subject to availability of funds allotted under
contingent grant/Office expenses. Utmost economy shall be observed in exercise of
financial powers.
