Airport Manager III Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines Davao International Airport, Sasa Davao City,
Subject: AIRPORT VISITATION, SEMINAR ON AERODROME ENGINEERING
AND HUMAN FACTORS AVIATION SAFETY
To Engr. Obcena:
I am writing to formally request an airport visitation for the aviation department of
MATS College of Technology, specifically for the 2nd and 4th Year students under the Aeronautical Engineering Program this coming May 26, 2023. As part of their subject curriculum in aerodrome engineering, an airport visitation would greatly enhance their learning experience and provide them with a practical application of the theories they have learned in the classroom. We would be grateful if you could allow us to visit the airport facilities and observe the various processes involved in aviation operations, such as aircraft maintenance, ground handling, and air traffic control. This opportunity will undoubtedly give our students a unique and invaluable insight into the aviation industry and help them to better understand the complex operations of an airport. Furthermore, we would like to request some time for a short seminar regarding aerodrome engineering and human factors aviation safety. We believe that this will be a great opportunity for our students to learn from the experts and gain a better understanding of the principles behind aerodrome engineering, as well as the importance of human factors in aviation safety. We assure you that our students will conduct themselves with utmost professionalism and will abide by all the rules and regulations set by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines during their visit. We look forward to hearing from you soon and hope that our request will be granted. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Engr. Cedrick Bryll C. Sison
Aeronautical Engineering Instructor
Engr. Jam Cay Delfin
