Finger Paint - Spring Tree

Materials
• 2 recycled styrofoam trays
• scissors
• finger paint (yellow, orange, red and brown)
• white paper

To clean your hands and forearm

• bucket
• water and soap
• towel

Instructions

Cut the edge of a recycled styrofoam
tray in order to let the arm pass.

Spread the brown paint on the
styrofoam tray with a paint brush.

Press the hand and forearm in brown
paint.

Press the hand and the forearm on a
sheet of paper to transfer the paint
and to form the trunk and branches of
the tree.

Note : keep your fingers apart to better

represent the branches

Spread pale green paint on a
styrofoam tray.
Make handprints to form the foliage
of the tree. Work in a fan movement,
always keeping your fingers spread
open, pointing outward.

6 Represent the flowers of the tree by

dipping the tip of a finger in pink paint
and tap it around the foliage.
